Russell from Scout UAV has created a terrific build log for his quadrocopter project. The log is highly detailed with everything from a parts list to construction steps to programming. He’s done some serious leg work for anyone who wants to build one. If nothing else this is a pretty fun read as he explains the intricacies of the build. all told the Quadrocopter can run upwards of $1,200 depending on what parts you want to buy though I am certain you could forego quality for cost on this. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Also as a side note on his main page he has a vote up asking if you would be willing to buy the carbon fiber airframe for the scout for about $300. That would seem to indicate that he might be interested in selling them, or maybe even kits!
